(Psalm 34:19) KJV

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
(Romans 8:28) KJV

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
(Romans 8:31) KJV

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
(Romans 8:35-37) KJV

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
(Psalm 55:22), NIV

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Understanding and the Bible

Upon what conditions is an understanding of divine things promised? "My son, if you accept My words and store up My commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:1-6, NIV.

God is greater than our understanding. "God is so great that we cannot begin to know Him. No one can begin to understand eternity." Job 36:26, TLB.

Spiritual maturity begins with basics, but moves on to deeper understanding. "Let us stop going over the same old ground again and again, always teaching those first lessons about Christ. Let us go on instead to other things and become mature in our understanding, as strong Christians ought to be. Surely we don't need to speak further about the foolishness of trying to be saved by being good, or about the necessity of faith in God." Hebrews 6:1, TLB.

Trust God, not your own bright ideas. It's in the Bible,  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV.

Fearing God brings wisdom. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:10, NIV.5

Meaning of Understanding

Understanding (also called intellection) is a psychological process related to an abstract or physical object, such as a person, situation, or message whereby one is able to think about it and use concepts to deal adequately with that object.

An understanding is the limit of a conceptualisation. To understand something is to have conceptualised it to a given measure.9
