Blessed is he whose
transgression is forgiven, whose
sin is covered.
(Psalm 32:1)
He
hath not dealt with us after our
sins; nor rewarded us according to
our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above
the earth, so great is his
mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the
west, so far hath he
removed our transgressions from
us.
(Psalm 103:10-12)
There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after
the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Romans 8:1)

What shall we then say to these
things? If God be for us, who can
be against us?
He that spared not his own
Son, but delivered him up for us
all, how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to
the charge of God's elect? It is
God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died, yea
rather, that is risen again, who
is even at the right hand of God,
who also maketh intercession for
us. Who
shall separate us from the love of
Christ? shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or
famine, or nakedness, or peril, or
sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we
are killed all the day long; we
are accounted as sheep for the
slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we
are more than conquerors through
him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life, nor
angels, nor principalities, nor
powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor
any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
(Romans 8:31-39) |

Bible Quotes |

Let
the wicked forsake his way, and
the unrighteous man his thoughts:
and let him return unto the LORD,
and he will have mercy upon him;
and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon
(Isaiah 55:7)
For God sent not his Son
into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through
him might be saved. He that
believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God.
(John 3:17,18) |
|
Verily, verily, I say unto
you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall
not come into condemnation; but is
passed from death unto life.
(John 5:24) |
|
When Jesus had lifted up
himself, and saw none but the
woman, he said unto her Woman,
where are those thine accusers?'
hath no man condemned thee? She
said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said
unto her, Neither do I condemn
thee: go, and sin no more.
(John 8:10,11) |
|
Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature; old
things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) |
|
If we confess our sins, he
is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
(1 John 1:9)
And
I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our
God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is
cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the
blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony; and they loved
not their lives unto the death.
(Revelation 12:10,11) |

Those who cannot remember
the past are condemned to repeat

I will not condemn you for
what you did yesterday if you do

--Sheldon Maye
It will never do to plead sin as
an excuse for sin, or to attempt
to justify sinful acts by pleading
that we have an evil heart. This
instead of being a valid apology,
is the very ground of our
condemnation.

As much as we thirst for approval

The Bible and
Condemnation |
Correction is helpful when it is
motivated by love rather than condemnation.
"I am not writing about these things to make you
ashamed,
but to warn and counsel you as beloved children."
I Corinthians 4:14, TLB
The Bible promises that the dead will
live again.
"Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming
when all who are in their graves will hear His voice and
come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and
those who have done evil will rise to be condemned."
John 5:28-29, NIV5

Free from Condemnation |
The Bible
says in Romans chapter 8 verse 1, “There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” This Bible verse is
one of the great promises of God. What Paul is teaching here
Jesus already taught in
John chapter 3:17 when He said, “For
God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through Him might be saved.” The promise
is that any human being who trusts in Jesus Christ will find
himself free of guilt, free from condemnation, no longer in
danger of facing the wrath of God.6

Condemnation &
Judgment |
The word
condemnation in the above verses comes from the same Greek
word which means to judge. To be condemned means to be found
guilty, guilty of doing wrong and breaking the law. In human
society if you go to court and a judge finds you guilty,
then you are condemned and there will be punishment. The
same is also true with God. The Bible says in
Hebrews 9:27,
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this
the judgement:” All human beings will die one day and all
humans will stand before God to be judged. The Words of God
here in
Romans 8:1 are like a sweet song that will sooth the
penitent mind because just as the Bible says in
Romans 3:23,
“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God,”
Romans 8:1 says that there is no
condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.6

Jesus took our condemnation |
The reason that
there is no condemnation is
because of Jesus Christ. Jesus
said in
Matthew chapter 5 verse
17, “Think not that I am come to
destroy the law, or the prophets;
I am not come to destroy, but to
fulfill.” Jesus Christ fulfilled
the law 2000 years ago by living a
life without sin, by never once
breaking the law of God. And even
more importantly Jesus died for
your sins and for mine and He rose
again on the third day. He
sacrificed Himself. He took your
condemnation. Therefore, if you
take Him, there will be no
condemnation for you because you
will be in Christ Jesus.6

deserved nothing but condemnation"
5: (criminal law) a final judgment of guilty in a criminal
